The Final Countdown

I'm bored.

I'm mad busy with work which is why I didn't post for a while, but to be honest the time taken to write this Blog is just not worth it. I just haven't got the time or inclination to continue with it. I am not the sort of person who can continually talk to himself.

I've tried for the best part of 6 months both here and also the Gambling Exchange to post up positions etc but the return you get is worthless. I think I can count on the fingers of one hand the people who have provoked/inspired me - The Badger, Eddy Dixon, Stephen Maher........ It's tough to keep going.

All I wanted to achieve here is to meet like minded people who may want to swap ideas etc. But I didn't realise how personal the whole Gambling World is. I know now.

The only person I have met (In the flesh) through the whole process is a chap called Gordon. Nice, he may be, but not a clue about Gambling. BTW Gordon, if you are up for a pint at the Swan I'll be there and I hope JT is back soon.

I'll still comment on other people's Blogs to try to keep them going, but I think Mark Iverson has it right, this kind of Blog is dead. It's too much like hard work.

I haven't blown my bank, to be honest I don't have a Gambling Bank per se,  I am more of a Punter/Trader who puts money in when needed and sometimes withdraws (Very seldom lol)

I am not going to Delete this Blog just not post any more, the chaps listed on the left are far more proficient and if I was you I would recommend you read those instead.

If anyone wants to conatct me directly you can reach me at sports_punter@hotmail.co.uk

If not, I have enjoyed the ride and wish all of you the Best of Luck.

Take Care and Good Luck

BTW for those that think I done my Bank on the US Golf, I didn't touch it. The position is now as it was earlier.

Keep your fingers crossed for Mickelson ;-)

Golf Update

Well after the frenetic pace of the Darts last night, not for me I must confess, it was nice to have an hour or so this morning to trade the slightly more sedate Golf.

Unfortunately Siem had a bit of a brainstorm before the heavens opened, so the overall position has been dented somewhat. I've managed to get a couple more players onside and still retain the no loss book, but it could have been much better. My main shout at the moment is Randhawa, only 5 off the lead and someone who is at least capable of winning. We'll see what happens.

One player you won't see on this list is Marksaeng, who I have got a comedy Green on, worthless as he probably won't even make the cut, but you never know.

On to the US Golf and I haven't had the best of starts. Going to leave things as they are for the moment, but want to lay Dustin Johnson if he gets much shorter. Problem is he has two Par 5's in his first three holes so don't want to do it yet. Will be trading this one when I get back from the pub later, so it could get messy...................

Not sure if any one who reads does anything with the Golf, but I would be interested to hear any views you may have on any of the above if you do?

Good Luck

SP

As an aside anyone else think the Draw looks very skinny in the India v South Africa Test on Sunday? I am tempted to lay the Draw with India needing a win to save the series. If they don't serve up a result pitch I will be amazed.

Premier League Darts

Trying to trade these matches is a nightmare for me. Way too quick.

Made a couple of quid on the first one, but think I might stick to the Cricket and Golf.

Who am I kidding, come on King!

Ok Out for another £14, why do I think it is all going back.....................

Little and often eh, I guess that is the motto.

Laying the Power in the last one for £50.

Sorry Chaps, didn't get to the Betfair market quick enough so you'll have to make do with the Geek's Toy Screenshot, but suffice to say, don't oppose Taylor........................

AT&T Pebble Beach

Opening Position on the US Golf, again with any luck we may get a trade over the weekend.

Avantha Masters

As promised, my opening position, let's see if we can trade at some point..........

Edit at the end of Day1:

Ok we have managed to get a nice position on this one. So far I have laid back the stake while keeping a few quid on Siem. What would you all do here? Let the Green ride on Siem or level off for about £70 or so.

I think I am going to let it ride until the morning and re-evaulate then.

Tonight's Football

Sorry Boys, been busy lately and no time to post.

I've had a few quid on Blackburn tonight, 1.96 looks massive to me, so cue 0-6.

Got a few fancies for the Golf in the Morning, which unlike last time I'll try to post up tonight.

Full update to follow at some point, but wanted to post this up Pre Kick Off.

Good Luck All.
