Irish Open - Day 3

Hope you are all well. Won about £35 last week on the Golf in the end. I'd take the right now if you offered it this week.

Made a horlicks of things yet again going in to the weekend, bit of a recurring theme here I think :)

Any chance Noh could shoot 62 today?

Edit 12-00

I've just gone in on Siem again too. The bloke is driving me nuts at the moment. I know he is going to implode but I can't help myself!

So far I have backed him at 38, laid him at 90 and now backed him at 95. What a plonker.

Scandinavian Masters - Pay Day

Did a bit of trading yesterday, but not much to be honest.

Have settled on the following going in to today, not much chance of a big win, but at least I should claw some of the Open losses back.

Again, I reserve the right to completely destroy this book before the day is out.................

Scandinavian Masters - Moving Day

Well just to tidy up last week first, didn't trade the position in the end, so Louis cost me a packet. Fair play to him though he did it well and looked as cool as a cucumber doing it.

Any way on to this week and I have done some playing up to this point on the Scandinavian Masters, so let's see if we can get some of it back............

Should hopefully have a chance to trade this properly later, so don't be surprised if I make a mess of it before tomorrow :) Basically I dont fancy KJ, which ever Putting method he chooses to employ.

The Open - Pay Day

Well destroyed a great position yesterday afternoon, by falling in love with my lay of Oosty.

After three days of hard work, I am in a nightmare position now, which although I can green up for about £30 the field, it's not going to make me rich............ (At various times yesterday could have been green for about £130 but I got greedy)

Haven't decided what to do with it yet and may let it run until conditions become clearer, but I need a miracle to make any decent money out of this event now.

The Open - Day 2

Much happier with my position today.

Have many more decent Greens that you can't see on here. If Oosty holds on I'll be amazed.

If I hadn't set myself a limit of £100 on the event I would be laying him big time here.

Managed to get out of the hole on the Cricket too, still lost £20 but I can live with that.

Really think we could see a big price winner of the Golf, but we'll see what happens.

The Open - Day 1

Ok, not a great day today, basically I am £85 red the field, with many greens on the following:

Westwood
Casey
Els
G-Mac
and about 10 others

Biggest Green is Zach Johnson at about £2.5k although seeing as he is playing like a muppet now I could have put £10 on at 340 as we speak........................

No easy way to post a screen shot as the bets are all over the place a bit like my Trading :)

I'll try to post something up later if I get a chance, but not been a great day to be honest.

Got a horrible position on the Cricket (Aus v Pak) too, although this has improved somewhat this afternoon.

Basically I need rain all day tomorrow at both Lords and St Andrews with 50 mph winds all afternoon at the latter. Not much too ask for is it?

Hope you are faring a bit better than me at the moment.

The Open Championship - St Andrews

Well here we go nearly there.............

I made no money on the World Cup, even less on Wimbledon, let's see if I can claw some back this week.

I'm going to change my blog a bit this week and update at least once a day with my current position on this event. (With Screenshot).

I'll also do a preview tomorrow which I'll post up with any opening positions I may take.

Not sure if there are any Golf lovers who read this Blog, but if there are I'd be delighted to hear any views or opinions you may have as we go through the week.

Wall to wall BBC coverage, work is going to suffer, but a level playing field for all in running punters - should be a Great week.

Spain v Germany

Looking forward to trading the Golf over the next few days, but in the interim there is the small matter of the World Cup Semi Final.

Got to be honest my Punting on both the World Cup and Wimbledon has been woeful up until now, lucky for you I haven't been posting my inane thoughts too often..................

Anyway back to business and I really fancy Spain to win tonight inside 90 minutes, so I have had a bit of a lump as you do!

They look value to me in any case and I have got The Octopus on my side too, although i think he has backed them to qualify rather than win in 90.

I wonder where Mr Moat is watching the game tonight?

What a day of Sport!

In my customary mess with the Euro Golf at the moment, hopefully Kaymer or McIlroy are going to bail me out this afternoon. Either that or Derkson can throw in a double or two on the way home.

On to the Football and two bets for me today, both games to end in a draw. We've already seen Brazil and Holland's ability to throw in a tame draw when it suits them and along with Uruguay the draw kings of the past, really fancy these to cop. I'll go for Brazil 1-1 Holland and Uruguay 0-0 Ghana as the two results after 90 minutes.

Is Muzza going to put the smile back on to the faces of us Brits (Note Brits not English) this afternoon? Do you know what I think he has got a shot. Won't be backing him but will watch with interest.

In the other Semi, I think Djoko is a big price and have had a bit of a nibble with a view to trade later. I just think Berdych played his final against Federer and it may be a step too far for him today.

Good luck All.
